A Learner Centric Future for Higher Education

Disruption is forcing a rethink of higher education sector models

With the impact on global outcomes, the stakes are high. The opportunities are also abundant, democratising and reinvigorating an industry for it to thrive in the new world. It's on us to shape and shepherd this change through to new pastures.

Since 2010, FromHereOn has been forging new pathways with Higher Education leaders, acting as a soundboard to help shape and operationalise strategic visions.

We've contributed to CAUDIT’s annual EA Conference, partnered to publish the Higher Education reference models, advised to the Federal Government for the implementation of the National Credentials Platform, developed a free MOOC course for Enterprise Architecture on the Open Universities platform, mentored and trained thousands in TOGAF and Business Architecture and, delivered 55+ Strategy & Architecture engagements to 18 different institutions.

We’ve developed an intimate understanding of Higher Ed ICT Strategies, Campus Digital Master Plans, Student Experience Roadmaps, Research Uplift Programs, Strategic Blueprints and Roadmaps for Application, Data and Technology Infrastructure, Enterprise Information Management Strategies, Architecture Practice Capability Improvement, Enterprise Security Architectures, Enterprise Cloud Roadmaps, Strategic Portfolio Cost Modelling.

In 2016, we partnered with CAUDIT to package and release our highly-evolved business and information reference models for use by higher education institutions. We felt that the knowledge should be in the hands of the Higher Ed collective, as the industry required a standard that would catalyse business and technology planning in a sector subject to major disruption. With expert curation and stewardship from CAUDIT, these models have evolved into a global industry-standard backed by EDUCAUSE and UCISA. These models jump-start your strategy and architecture efforts, providing a common language to describe business capabilities and information.
